The Passion Profiler™ is a groundbreaking personality assessment tool that is anchored in positive psychology. It was conceived and developed by Alaina Love and Marc Cugnon, two international leadership experts and former Merck Pharmaceutical executives.

Through exhaustive interviews, Love and Cugnon have identified 10 core Passion Archetypes.

Altruist - Their raison d'etre is to make a difference in the world, for them, the needs of the many trump the needs of the few. High degree of empathy, the humanitarians of an organization. Generous with self and possessions.
Builder - A powerful personality that is a driving force for growing a business. They thrive on open landscape and the opportunity to create something new within that space, whether it is a literal translation, such as a structure, or a thriving business culture.
Conceiver - Intellectual acrobats who think outside the box, imagine new possibilities, and contribute to innovation. Known for their intellectual rigor in examining an issue from all sides. The thinkers with beautiful minds.
Connector - Skilled at seeing both sides of an issue, they are very adept communicators and fluent in the art of negotiation. Excellent at building relationships. Probably invented the Rolodex.
Creator - Driven by a sense of aesthetics, whether it be a tangible design or a representation of a challenge. Vivid imaginations, they do not see limitations, only possibilities. Ideas "speak" to them causing creators to lose track of time, space and keys.
Discoverer - Explorers and innovators on a quest to find a new treasure, whether it be a scientific discovery or discerning a new pattern in human behavior. Very comfortable with the unknown. 'Leap of faith' characterizes this archetype.
Healer - Empathic and very sensitive to the needs of others, they are highly tuned in to their surroundings. Courageous interpersonally, they are unafraid of intense emotions and situations. Healers see wounds and know they can help.
Processor - 'It's all in the details' characterizes this archetype. Adherents of structure, function, and tradition. Can be highly analytical and able to absorb and synthesize large amounts of data. Typically cool under pressure.
Teacher - Generous with knowledge and possessed with a drive to learn as well, teachers create a foundation of institutional knowledge that they assimilate and share. They can be creative communicators.
Transformer - Change and adventure is their mantra, they have the ability not only to imagine the possibilities, but to create the change they envision. Always seeking ways to improve upon an existing design or system. Will challenge the status quo.
